Some fascinating historical points of interest will be covered along the way.

We follow a track which crosses the SUW and head into the hills towards Rivox Fell. The route gently undulates north towards Mosshope Fell and then drops down hill along the SUW and to the secluded Brattleburn Bothy for a lunch break.

The path continues along the SUW rising up to Craig Hill before rejoining the original track back to the start. There are views through the hills and towards Hart Fell along the trail.

Transport is included.
