Who knows what you may discover on this walkabout?
Having spoken to Bill he doesn’t seem to know either but he has hinted that there may be some previously undiscovered revelations about the Beatles connection to Moffat.
Forget Liverpool and Hamburg – did you know Moffat had its own role in shaping the Fab Four's destiny?
Or so Bill reckons.
To be fair, having gone to the same schools as three of the Beatles (Ringo didn’t go to school), he sees himself as a bit of a ‘moptop’ expert.
Another of Bill’s passions is 14th-century accountancy methodology but hopefully he won’t be bringing that up on the walk.
All the stories are true... except the ones that are not.
Bill Dawson is a writer and storyteller from Liverpool who now lives in Moffat. He has been weaving words for decades from intimate gatherings in storytelling clubs and libraries to commanding stages in theatres, grand houses and even football stadiums. He was also founder of Liverpool's renowned storytelling club, The Mouth of the Mersey. Bill has been walking since he was 8 months old.
